CTOL Familiarization/Systems

What you’ll learn:
Learn the basics and general principles of the F135 CTOL/CV engine. This course covers two F-35 aircraft variants. Course content also includes the concepts of the engine’s maintenance, engine modules and engine systems.

STOVL Familiarization/Systems

Learn the basics and general principles of the F135 STOVL engine. This course covers the propulsion system of the Short Take Off and Vertical Landing variant of the F-35 aircraft. Course content also includes the concepts of the engine’s maintenance, engine modules and engine systems.

Borescope/Fiberscope Inspection OJT

Learn to make damage assessments using borescope equipment and the F135 AFS Sheets. Conducted at customer location using customer engine.

First Stage Blade Blending

Course Code:1310
Duration:2 Days

What you’ll learn:
Learn the various areas of the 1st IBR, repairable limits, damage assessment/measurement and tools within the F135 program blade blend kit. Perform three types of blends on a high fidelity F135 inlet training device.
